About the role

We are currently recruiting a number of team members for an exciting mid to long-term transformation project with an ASX-listed client in the health and wellness sector.   

Working with management, sales and customers of the client organisation, this is an opportunity to help shape and evolve a growing organisation and brand.   We are looking for a Senior Automation & Manual Tester / Quality Assurance Contractor - 5 Days Per Week (ABN Required), who can work with, full stack developers, designers, project managers and product managers to build a digital product and platform. This is a six month project, with a view to extend.

About you

You are an articulate contributor and enthusiastic collaborator, used to working within an Agile environment and in cross functional teams.

You are passionate about the manual and automation testing world. You will help bring your experience to define automation strategies across the product and recommend and define the sets of tools, that will be best used to build a bug free product.

You are no novice to a multitude of testing environments & practices, comfortable with API, front-end (UI) and backend (functional) testing, across developer, staging and production environments.

You have extensive experience working within a PHP7 framework + MSSQL stack. Your experience with testing & using multi-language HTML5/CSS3 (Sass) responsive websites using a bootstrap 4 framework is second to none. It would be a major advantage if you have worked with Craft CMS or a similar CMS platform, however isn’t a deal breaker.

You’re uncompromising in your commitment and attention to detail, however you like to keep things simple and you know how to explain a technical issue simply, whether to a client or an internal team member.  You’re a collaborative team mate and have a natural willingness to help others and also learn new technologies.

  • View JS - Version 2 (Latest)

  • HTML5 &  CSS3 (Compiled Saas)

  • Load JS - Version 8.1 (Latest)

  • Javascript - Latest version ES6

  • JQuery

  • Bootstrap 4.0 (Latest)

Technology you have experience with:

  • Automation frameworks - such as Jenkins, Selenium etc

  • Webpack latest 4.0 (JS Bundle management tool)

  • Gitlab, Github, Git & working with gitlab framework and branches

  • Jira and Confluence

  • AWS Environments

Your testing approach:

  • MobileYou love to write easy to understand test cases / user scenarios

  • You can clearly identify test conditions and execute test cases and record results

  • Your documentation is excellent

  • You can and always identify, raise and manage defects within Jira & Confluence & chosen testing tools

  • You can create test and defect reports

  • You start with manual test scenarios & build up an automated framework to handle those recurring use cases

  • You have a great understanding of the SDLC
